As a kid, one of the first things we learn about is respecting others and ourselves.
As we grow older, respecting others and ourselves is threaded throughout our lives.
Lovingly taking care of someone else (whether it's your kids, a partner, parents or a friend) shows them you love and respect them. Lovingly taking care of yourself shows you the same thing. Nourishing yourself through self-care is one of the best ways to demonstrate that you value and respect your needs.
How do you show yourself self-respect? Honor yourself through bringing intention to your self-care routine and perhaps trying something new to spark excitement and creativity.
