Embrace the joy of nourishing yourself and others through seva, selfless service. Begin your journey by discovering how to honor yourself with self-care.
Word of the Week: Honor
Dedicate your work to your highest self. Offer your gifts; the universe will help.
What do you dedicate your day to? Is it raising a family, growing your career, creating a business, teaching or serving others in some way? You might even be doing all of these things. These are acts of service. In Sanskrit, the ancient language of yoga, selfless service is known as seva. Seva is giving to others without expecting to receive anything in return.
If you are fortunate enough to practice this, you know that it is an honor to serve others. You can honor your highest self by serving others with your gifts. Seva nourishes you and others, too.
